Applications
- Industrial grade liquid Nitrogen, is frequently used in pipe welding and purging, serving to flood pipes, displacing unwanted substances such as air, moisture, and other contaminants with this inert gas.
- Liquid Nitrogen is also used in advanced laser cutting applications and heat treatment processes to improve surface quality and hardening.
- Liquid Nitrogen is also used in shrink fitting of metal components for easier assembly, such as fitting gears or engine parts, which then expand to create a tight fit when they return to room temperature.
